Weekly Meal Plan

Complete success with last week's meal plan.  Out of the Pinterest recipes we cooked the baked spaghetti and the stuffed pepper soup were the favorites.  The other ones we REALLY close though. 

This is what's up for this week...

Saturday
Pizza Monkey Bread

EPIC FAIL!  This is a good idea in theory, but not good otherwise.  The bottom completely burned.  The few pieces that were in the middle were really good.  I did it exactly like the recipe said except I used store bought pizza dough.  Don't know if that was the problem, but will not be making this again.





Sunday breakfast
Veggie Fritata

OUTSTANDING!  This is good eats.  The broiling is not a good idea though.  You need to actually bake it at 425 and just watch it.  With the broiling, the center wasn't getting done, but the edges were browning too quick.  We will be eating this again and probably for supper!




Sunday dinner
Cream Cheese Chicken Chili
(We didn't make this last week because we had so much left over from the stuffed pepper soup we just ate it two days in a row.)


Breakfast for the Week
 Oatmeal Cupcakes

Another hit!  Good stuff here!!!!  I did not buy the almond milk because the pricing is just crazy just to get a cup.  I made my own and it was GOOOOOD!  Just add 2 tsp. of Splenda and 1 tsp. of almond extract to the cup of milk and WAAALAAA...almond milk!





Monday
Grilled Shrimp Salads
Hey??  We love our salads in our house!!


Tuesday
Stuffed Cabbage Casserole





Wednesday
Grilled BBQ Chicken w/veggies
An old favorite of ours!


Thursday
Eating out/picking up - Open House at school until 8:00 pm


Friday
Fish Tacos
Another old favorite!
