I'm back!!!

Let me explain...I logged in shortly after my last blog post (early November) to post and I got this message that I've used up my memory and I needed to buy more.  I just sat there.  I couldn't imagine that I had posted that much and then I couldn't decide if I wanted to spend money on continuing the blog.  So it sat.  And sat.  And sat.

Today, I'm procrastinating taking Christmas down, so I thought I would try it again and see what happened and WAAA-LAAAA!  It worked.  So, we're back in business.  I'm sure I've lost some followers with my 2 month hiatus, but maybe I'll gain some new ones.  I have a TON to post, so it will have to be the shortened version.

Let's start with Thanksgiving...

We went to East Texas to spend it with Rick's mom, sister and her husband and their family.  Oh my gosh it is just what we need and I always love going there.  I'm hoping this trip for Thanksgiving will be the norm from here on out.  Emily came down from Boulder and Zach ended up flying in the day after Thanksgiving since he had to work Thanksgiving day.

Halloween

Wow!  I totally forgot to post about Halloween! 

Spencer had been looking forward to Halloween for forever!  He loves to dress up and loves the Avengers.  So, he was Iron Man.

 

 

 

 

I made giant candy corn marshmallows and monster goo for his friends at school.  Of course, both found on Pinterest. ;)

We took Spencer trick or treating at his school for trunk or treat and then just around the neighborhood.  I got zero pictures because I literally couldn't catch up with Rick & Spencer.  Spencer was on a mission!  Gram and PaPaw came over to give Spencer a special treat.

 

 



GLOW-tober Party

Our middle school student council put on a GLOW-tober dance/Halloween party last Friday.  I always leave school to go get Spencer and bring him.  What little boy doesn't love ALL the attention from girls??

Funny story...Spencer loves the movie Brave.  Well, he spotted one our sixth graders that was dressed up as the girl from Brave.  I mean, she looks just like her.  He started going nuts saying, "Mama!  Mama!" (while pointing at her)  He really thought it was her.  So we went and found her and she is the sweetest thing and posed for a picture with Spencer.  The icing on the cake was when Megan was walking away, she said, "Bye Spencer!" and he looked at me and said, "She knows my name?!?!"  It literally made his night!

Instead of ordering off the kids' menu, we order him a house salad (sometimes two).  This kid LOVES salad.  True story.
