We got Spencer a sand table and we picked it up yesterday. We've wanted to get him a sandbox for awhile now, but I'm not crazy about a sandbox on the ground with stray cats and our neighbor's cat. It just grosses me out. So, we got him this:
he's just about old enough for a "bean box" (and won't try to eat them or stick them up his nose!) - fill a medium size plastic tub with dry pinto beans and measuring spoons, funnels, etc. my kids LOVED playing in the bean box!

You will NEVER get him out of the backyard now!! He is growing up way too fast!
